Dr. Sutariya is Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer for Oracle Health. Oracle Health’s mission is to create a human-centric healthcare experience powered by unified global data. Leveraging his extensive healthcare technology, analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), care delivery transformation, value-based care, and direct patient care experience of more than 25 years, he has multifaceted responsibilities at the intersection of product development, delivery, and client success. Dr. Sutariya has extensive healthcare technology development and implementation experience, is board-certified in Emergency Medicine, and has practiced in Kansas and Michigan.
In previous roles, Dr. Sutariya was a leader in Deloitte’s Integrated Health practice, where he focused on advancing clients’ clinical and operational transformations through technology.
As Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Cerner Corporation (now Oracle Health), Dr. Sutariya led the development of Cerner’s core clinical EHR capabilities, population health platform, and solutions. Additionally, he drove the growth of Cerner’s data-driven performance improvement practice and invented Cerner’s Sepsis surveillance system.
Previously, Dr. Sutariya was at Detroit Medical Center (DMC), leading healthcare information technology implementation and clinical transformation across this integrated delivery network.
Dr. Sutariya was faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, and has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from Wayne State. Dr. Sutariya trained in Emergency Medicine at the residency program of Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.
