Doug Dietzman is a senior executive leader with a 30-year track record in the healthcare industry, serving hospital systems, physician organizations, health plans, health information exchanges, and other healthcare environments with specific expertise in interoperability and health information exchange.
In his current role, Mr. Dietzman is Managing Director, Interoperability Solutions at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Before this role, he was Executive Vice President for USQHIN where he led national interoperability efforts and was also Chief Executive Officer of Great Lakes Health Connect, a leading statewide health information exchange serving Michigan since 2010.
He has a master’s degree in healthcare administration and a bachelor’s degree in business management. In 2011, he was named a Thought Leader in Health Care by Business Review West Michigan.
Mr. Dietzman has served on several boards and advisory committees over the years, including on the Board of Directors for Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative; an HIO representative for eHealth Exchange Coordinating Committee; the Board Strategy Committee for Christian Living Services; the Board of Directors for iMPROve Health; as an Advisory Board Member for The Bonnie Wesorick Center for Health Care Transformation, Grand Valley State University Kirkof College of Nursing; and the Board of Directors Vice-Chair for the FHG Theater.
