Melissa Werbish LNHA, CDP, CNA

Melissa (“Missy”) Werbish is the Wellness Administrator at Grace Haven Assisted Living. She has spent the last 17 years improving patient care within skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

Ms. Werbish started her career in healthcare in 1996, working at a physician’s office. After a few years, she transitioned to home health care and hospice. After a few more years, she transitioned into long-term senior care, which has continued to be her passion. Her focus has been on quality of care, resident rights, and patient-centered communities.

She is involved in other committees including the St. Johns Chamber of Commerce, and she has volunteered for 15 years on the Steering Committee as Chairman of Senior Citizen’s Day for the Mint Festival. She is also a current member of HCAM (Health Care Association of Michigan) and MALA (Michigan Assisted Living Association).

Ms. Werbish is a licensed nursing home administrator, a certified dementia practitioner, and a certified nurse assistant in the State of Michigan. She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in health communications from Grand Valley State University.
